Flea Markets on Tap

From Jimmy C...

It must be the weather, but there are at least two neighborhood flea markets
in Trenton this Saturday.

There will be a community flea market at the First Baptist Church (Bridge
and Centre Streets) on Saturday (May 15), 8am-1pm.  Tables are $7 and spaces
without tables are $5.  Proceeds from table rentals benefit the South
Trenton Area Residents Society and the Baptist Youth Fellowship of First
Baptist Church.  The market will be held behind the church and vendors are
welcome to set up any time after 7am.  If you or anyone you know would be
interested, email back or call the church (393-8810) to reserve a spot.

As previously reported, Glen Afton?s Annual Flea Market and Flower Sale will
be held 8:30 ? 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at the corner of Aberfeldy and
Morningside (by the mailbox)

Looking ahead...
The City of Trenton plans a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new plaza in
Stacy Park (south end of Riverside Drive on the Island)at 11 AM on Thursday,
May 20.  Please plan to attend to show your suppport for the improvement
efforts of the City's Division of Natural Resources.

And one resident is encouraging others to please bring pet dogs to the
ceremony in an effort to demonstrate the desire of those who would like to
see the city create a "Dog Park" for our canine citizens.
