Saturday, October 23, Cadwalader Heights Home & Restaurant Tour will be
held from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.This year's Tour will feature 11 historic
homes in Cadwalader Heights, The Ellarslie Mansion, and Cadwalder-Asbury
United Methodist Church, along with samples of fine cuisine from 12 of
Trenton's best restaurants. Tickets are $25, and will be available the day
of the Tour at the Cadwalader-Asbury United Methodist Church, 910 Stuyvesant
Avenue. Proceeds of the Tour will benefit the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen,
The Trenton Museum Society at Ellarslie and the Cadwalader Heights Civic
Association. Additional information is available online at

October 30 - Trenton NAACP 34th Freedom Fund Awards Dinner. Included in
this year's group of honorees are the Mercer 6 - a group of National
Guardsmen who banned together to face/survive the Iraqi experience. They
will receive the President's Award which will also be presented to the Armed
Forces (in mass) and the Armed Forces (in memoriam.  The NAACP hopes all of
the community will join them in honoring the men and women who continue to
fight or lost their lives for the freedom of others. The banquet is at the
Westin Princeton, Rt. 1, reception 4-5 pm, dinner 5:30 pm. Cost $55 per
