Jimmy C's Weekly Calendar
T'is the season and I'd like to offer the following suggestion to all of you
holiday shoppers out there. Please consider doing as much of your holiday
shopping as you can with local businesses and such. With a little effort,
you can find just about anything you need to purchase within Trenton's city
limits and from local rather than national/multi-national stores. Even if
you have to go to the townships, there are alternatives to the craziness and
congestion in the malls and such. Trenton and the surrounding area offers a
wealth of suppliers and services and costs may not be as "high" as you
think, especially when you consider the time and energy expended in
traveling to the major shopping centers in area. Dollars spent here tend to
stay here, thus improving our overall economic health. --- Jim Carlucci
