12:00 Noon  Rally at State House Calling for Voter-verified Paper Trail,
A rally is being organized on the theme, Make Every Vote Count! This is the
day before the January 11 scheduled second hearing in New Jersey Superior
Court of the lawsuit filed by CFPA and others demanding a voter-verified
paper trail for all electronic voting machines. Judge Linda Feinberg
originally heard the case a week before Election Day, and while not ordering
emergency remediation, kept the case open. Speakers:
Assemblyman Reed Gusciora, prime sponsor of a bill in the NJ Assembly that
would mandate voter verified paper back-up for all electronic voting

discuss upcoming legislation on the death penalty. The meeting will include
an update on the possibility of the first execution in NJ in 41 years. We
will also discuss Acting Governor Codey's involvement in a possible death
penalty study and moratorium. There will be a question and answer period.
This is a very critical time in NJ. There are a lot of different scenarios
regarding the death penalty so please come to this meeting to get the latest

Concert.  The Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie is hosting a special blues
concert to close out their exhibit, "Blue Notes." Joe Zook is lead guitarist
and vocalist of Joe Zook and Blues Deluxe, a seasoned, powerhouse blues band
well-known in the Central Jersey area. Guitarist, singer and songwriter Paul
Plumeri is a veteran of hundreds of clubs and festivals all over the
country.  The concert also features master of ceremonies D.D. Worek and very
special guests Ernie White; Billy "Bluesboy" Holt; Angelo Di Braccio and
Rick Lawton from Blues Deluxe; Tom Reock of The Ernie White Band; John
Sopko, Bobby Merc, Greg Simon (D.D. and the Divebombers); Mario DeBartolo
(Swing This); Mikey Jr. (Stone Cold Blues Band); Professor Dave Orban (Mojo

Trenton Museum Society Hosts Â?ItÂ?s All About ChocolateÂ? Second Annual
Chocolate-Tasting Fundraiser from 7 to 9 p.m., just in time for ValentineÂ?s
Day. The chocolate tasting is being presented in conjunction with Sweety
Peety, Trenton�s foremost confectionary.  The event will feature sumptuous
chocolate truffles made with libations such as rum, kahlua, grappa and
peppermint schnapps. Demonstrators and volunteers will show guests how to
make delicious gourmet truffle treasures, and attendees will have the
opportunity to sample how well chocolate pairs with a wide variety of
liquors. The event features several different stations, including a
chocolate and liquor bar, chocolate and coffee bar, and chocolate, wine and
cheese bar. Non-alcoholic chocolate treats will also be available, and the
museum gift shop will feature wonderful chocolate ValentineÂ?s Day gifts.
Attendees can also take part in an auction to bring home even more special
gifts and treats. �This year we�re incorporating an educational component
into ItÂ?s All About Chocolate by introducing truffle making Â?Emeril-styleÂ?
to participants,Â? says Joanne Reilly, Sweety Peety. Â?WeÂ?ll teach everyone
