Wednesday, May 11
Art Talks at Gallery 125.......... Wednesdays 12:30-1 p.m.
During May, Gallery 125 offers informal art talks highlighting various
aspects of its current exhibit, "Moscow Makes Trenton Takes." The talks,
which are free and open to the public, last for approximately 20 minutes
with time for discussion afterward. Please feel free to bring your lunch.
* May 11: Brushstroke: Following the hand of the artist.
* May 18: Illustrating the Point: A look at stories and
narratives in the paintings.
* May 25: The Seasonal Palette: From warm spring tones to cold
winter hues.
* June 1: Getting Religion: A discussion of religious themes
and elements.
Discussions will be led by Amy Brummer, a staff member of the Trenton
Downtown Association, the non-profit organization that runs Gallery 125. Ms.
Brummer holds a B.A. in Art History from Colgate University in Hamilton,
N.Y., and has completed graduate level coursework at the Folk Art Institute,
a division of the American Folk Art Museum in Manhattan. Ms. Brummer was
previously a staff writer covering Bucks County for the Princeton Packet's
Time Off arts and entertainment section. All talks are free and open to the

deliberated the merits of saving or razing this landmark. Presented by the
Preservation Committee of the Trenton Historical Society and Students of

* 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. 5th ANNIVERSARY of MILLION MOM MARCH "UNITED
AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE" Rain or Shine; Indoors if necessary ALL ages
invited. Rally and Candlelight Vigil Hands Without Guns and Shoot Hoops/Not
Guns activities for youngsters. Gun violence prevention materials available
for all ages. FREE gun locks. Light refreshments. Entertainment.
CANDLELIGHT VIGIL begins at dusk. Those affected by gun violence are
encouraged to bring pictures, poems, and names for our WALL OF REMEMBRANCE.
You will be invited to mention victims' names during Vigil. CONTACT
882-3711 for information or to provide names of gun victims to be honored if
you are unable to attend. Someone will read the name for you. MMM T-shirts,
Videos and CDs - as well as Entertainer's CDs - will be available for sale.

at Sacred Hearth Church. Presented in Spanish and English by Tatiana
Durbank of Lutheran Social Ministries, Councilman At Large Manny Segura and
the Lamberton Historic District Committee.

* Saturday May 28, Join with the Preservation Committee of the Trenton
Historical Society and the Lamberton Historic District in a cleanup of the
vacant house at 125 Centre Street. This stately old home is the focus of
the "Save the Queen" effort as a model preservation and restoration project.
